About me

My name is Leonardo and I am an IT engineer, I got my degree in 2003 at the University of Pavia, in Italy. I work as a project manager in the IT field. Since 2006, alongside my professional activity I am self-employed as a blogger and youtuber.

I currently write on the following blogs:
  • Undicisettembre: about the attacks of September 11th, 2001 in New York and Washington. The blog is mainly aimed at debunking conspiracy theories and at collecting personal accounts from eyewitnesses, survivors, rescuers and investigators. On the website I have published over fifty interviews including one with the Navy SEAL that killed Osama bin Laden, Robert O'Neill, and one with former FBI special agent Mark Rossini.

  • 125esima Strada: music blog on which I write reviews and articles about music history. For this blog I have written more than twenty investigations on the deaths of famous musicians, often in collaboration with investigators who investigated specific cases. I also did numerous interviews with Italian and foreign singers and musicians and I also interviewed the first policeman who intervened on the scene of the death of Tupac Shakur, Chris Carroll, and the detective who led the task force who investigated the deaths of Tupac and Notorious B.I.G., Greg Kading.

  • Nastro di Mobius: blog on general topics. I wrote debunking articles on events in recent history and the Covid-19 pandemic. I also made interviews on spree killer Andrew Cunanan, including one with the prosecutor assigned to the case Michael Band, on the Waco siege with FBI negotiator Gary Noesner and on flight TWA 800.

In 2021 I started a YouTube channel that can be found at this address. On this channel I make video interviews with experts about topics such as true crime, terrorism and social matters. Among the topics I covered there are:
  • Afghanistan and the second rise of the Taliban, with interviews with former CIA officer Glenn Carle, former FBI special agent Mark Rossini and former DIA agent Julie Sirrs.

  • the Russian invasion of Ukraine with interviews with various former CIA officers and military expert Malcolm Nance

  • the death of Elisa Lam at the Cecil Hotel in Los Angeles in 2013.

  • the murder of Malcolm X with an interview with Phil Bertelsen, director and producer of the Netflix TV series Who Killed Malcolm X?

  • American society matters such as Christmas and Halloween celebrations, Native American rights, religions, and life at the border with Mexico.

During the Covid-19 pandemic I was interviewed twice by CGTN America about the conditions of the emergency in Italy:
